I really need to apply for a job as a MLB umpire. I have to be able to do better than Angel Hernandez...How does he keep his job??? Hard to get rid of a union guy. |

Losing a blow out bothers me less than a close game. I have no idea what is up with Severino. He lacks concentration or dedication I suspect. Boone's decisions in the 4th are beyond me.

Having said what I did I am not sure it matters what Boone did. We were going to get blown out of this regardless

Oh, it mattered. It mattered a bunch...He should have been prepared to pull Severino after the lead off runner reached in the 4th. With the score 3-0 the game was still manageable...then, I felt once he did make a decision he picked the wrong pitcher to come in and minimize the damage...
He punted this one away...As he did several games during the regular season. Worst of all, I’ve seen no improvement from him in his strategic game all season...

Looks like Rizzuto is enjoying his Saint’s game. Drew Brees is, too. All time passing yardage leader, and still going strong. Who’da thunk it???

Not winning that first game is looming large right now. Only good thing about this one looks like the better relievers will get the night off so they should be good tomorrow since CC likely won't go more than 5.

Give Cora credit, he pulled Price quickly on Saturday night at tried to give his team a chance to win. Way too last with the hook with Boone and Sevy. |
