Alright, we definitely got punched in the face. Now how do we respond? Cry about it or hit back with all we've got? Backs to the wall, facing elimination, we got CC going for us! I will be going to the game! Our season WILL NOT END TOMORROW!!!!

What a huge game for CC. If Girardi was still here he'd pull him after the first base runner. Boone has given Carsten a lot more rope and he's been rewarded more often than not...We don't even know if CC will want to come back again next year with his knee being like it is...So this could be a real defining moment for him. I know he'll be up to being his best...
As for Porcello, he's a strike-thrower and he's been great against the Yankees at home in his career, but we've tattooed him pretty good at Yankee Stadium, where he's 1-4; 5.56. Let's continue that fine tradition...

I feel good about this one we didnt use any of the big relievers today. They had 2 days off fully rested. Get ahead early, lock it down. Send Kaybli home with a win.

That's (the rested heart of the bullpen) the one thing that Boone may have done right today. He saved something for tomorrow (well, later today now since my vampire blood seems to be fully in bloom tonight)...Which right now is even more important...

I still haven't been to sleep and I've been to bed three times trying...So, I just got up again, and fell down on the floor while trying to put my pants on to come back in here to see if anyone was awake... |
