The problem with communism, aside from the fact that is has been a spectacular failure, that led to immense amounts of suffering and death, everywhere it has been (or attempted to have been) implemented everywhere around the world, is that it is a philosophically immoral in its very nature.

I disagree regarding Trump. By doing some research, I have come to the conclusion he is being backed, in part, by the military. A bit of a counter coup to what was happening. Trump might be a Billionaire, but he is not in the same league, money wise, as the crooks running things. But their time is coming to a close. Called a conspiracy theory, I have followed Q-Anon since the beginning (bit more than a year ago) and outside of needed disinfo, he has laid it all out on the table. One place to find their posts is here, pulled off 8 Chan - qmap.pub/Good video summaries are here: www.youtube.com/user/prayingmedic and www.youtube.com/channel/UCAyrKoW31y5UcsRjh2ItvxQAfter a while of investigation, and then connecting many dots, this Q-Anon (group) appear connected to Trump. If they are disinfo within his campaign is up in the air. But Too much has come true, way way before MSM ever reported on it. Nothing short of amazing. And If I am wrong, God help us all, as this is our best chance since they killed Kennedy. Ironic posting that in this thread. cc: chuckthblade Subject: This is what spouting conspiracies actually looks like Signed: your friend mich No, that is what labelling something a conspiracy theory looks like, in order to shut down discord. Of course you won't mention anything that Q said that came true, just call it names. The number of proofs that Q has given (sometimes months before the event) is fairly large. If Q-Anon is just a conspiracy theory, why all the MSM hit pieces and attacks? Why waste those resources on something that isn't at all true? BTW - What is the sealed indictment count up to now? Last I heard it was over 60,000 = Something is up. There have been some great proofs recently, but here are 10 from prior to August. justinformednews.com/2018/08/07/top-10-proofs-of-q-anon/Nice talking with you Mich. ;-)

The system itself was not at fault. The fault lies within the immorality of the leaders...But that is the great fallacy that will always lead to it’s failure. The fact is that the concept of equality is completely false. No two people are, or should strive to be “equal”. We have different physical and mental talents and characteristics that set us apart. . Any time any society strives for equality, failure will be the result. One need only to review the history of affirmative action to see that while individual successes did occur, the mass of the people the legislation attempted to raise to equality did not take action themselves to improve their lot. We will be faced with many Socialists choices on the next few years as our government attempts to “solve” the issue of class. It’s an issue that has always plagued mankind, and one that will never be “fixed”. All systems have a fatal flaw. That flaw is always the corruption of leaders by greed and thirst for power...

No, the system itself...Marxism, communism, however you want to classify it...is immoral. The idea that anyone is entitled to another's labor is immoral. The idea that a society should be centrally planned for some utopian vision of the collective, the dreams and desires of individuals ignored, is immoral. Equality of outcome by way of fiat is immoral. This is not a good idea that went just wrong because of some "fatal flaw." By design it is a fundamentally immoral idea/system that requires destruction of liberty and every other vehicle to prosperity.

If all worked happily for the common cause there would no need for any reduction of liberty. It takes only one dissenter to stir many, so all will never agree to work for a common cause, because we are all greedy by nature.
This is not an evil greed. It’s a greed born of our early beginnings and the instinct to survive. Ants can live communally because they have very small brains and don’t want for more than they have. We’re hard-wired differently.
To proclaim communism immoral is to proclaim those who first conceived the idea to be immoral. Perhaps they were, for I have no knowledge of their consciousness. What if the failure was due more to amorality than immorality? Does that matter? In my opinion, yes. Intention can be one thing, results another.
I feel compelled to repeat...I offer no support for communism, Marxism, collectivism, or any other the various names connected to such a form of government. Like most systems of belief, be they governmental or religious, it is the over zealous supporters that push the system to it’s limits and create problematic images and outcomes...I have to go now. We’re having a family air raid drill and I’m in charge of getting the mattresses...

Under the guise of communism, Mao murdered countless millions during his “ Great Leap Forward”. Under the umbrella of communism, Stalin sent millions to Siberia to be worked and starved to death. Under the facade of communism, Pol Pot rounded up anyone with a free thought in their head and murdered them. Not wishing to waste bullets, he had his thugs beat them to death with rocks and tree limbs or just bury them alive. They took photographs of these innocents before they were butchered and you can see the horror in their eyes knowing they were going to be savaged by their own countrymen. There are things going on in North Korea at this very moment I’m sure could be compared to what went on in concentration camps in World War Two. Communism enables violent assholes.

Yet, don't forget that the USA, under the guise of "freedom" slaughtered as many Native Americans as they could, and when they found out that they couldn't eradicate the entire population in hand to hand combat they paid american "Heroes" Like Bill Cody to slaughter the buffalo that their entire economy was dependent upon for food and clothing. That same US government allowed slavery for many years and denied blacks and women the right to vote. Hopefully, most of mankind is learning from our mistakes. Some countries are more advanced than others.
I spoke with some of our Asian immigrants in the greenhouse years ago about Pol Pot and the horrors their people and family members had experienced. It was indeed chilling...
Just yesterday, I took Colorado Route 115 north from Penrose, CO to Colorado Springs. There is a lot of what you might call classic western scenery on the route so I often eschew the interstate and drive that way, but when I do I always tend to imagine Native Americans on their horses at the top of the cliffs, watching the terrain for food, or perhaps to see the enemy approaching. I feel so privileged to be on this land out here, but I also get a sense of sadness knowing how it was acquired...There are places, not so much here in Colorado, but in New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Utah where I've passed through "Indian Reservations". In some cases, the only way you know it is that you see a sign or two along the road. In other cases, there is a stark difference...
