More Rucco and less Kay would be a welcome development.

I actually find Kay quite pleasant and listenable. To be fair, I haven’t really assessed Rucco that deeply. I guess I wanted to see if they kept him around first. He’s just”been there” so far, neither good nor bad. I’m not sure if that’s a positive or negative comment...

I didn’t mind Kay most of the time when he can stay on the game and off of one of his rants. I have enjoyed listening to Rucco’s podcast with CC a lot. Worth checking out if you haven’t heard it. Start with the David Cone episode which was just so good, because David Cone. So my comment was less about disliking how Kay calls a game and more about Rucco. I think overall the Yankees TV broadcast is quite good. Radio is another story...

Rucco has a nice side gig going on with ESPN. I listened to him the other night call the 76er's/Spurs game with Mark Jackson.

I really like O’neil and Coney. Singleton is a bit of a throw back with some of his phrasings, but he’s steady. Kay brings up interesting shit and I like his home run call. I haven’t heard any teams that are better and I’ve heard a lot worse.
