This is great news, I'd like to see the Yankees make signing their young stars to long term contracts the norm. Plus, they don't have to go through the ugly arbitration process with Sevy, no "character assassinations" with him.

Hasn't even turned 25 yet, pretty remarkable considering he debuted in 2015. Feels like he's been here forever and yet he still has the opportunity to elevate himself even further as a SPer. The right thing to lock him up and avoid an arbitration fiasco.
