Let's go Paxton! First pitch! Strrrriiiiiiiikke! How did Paxton look? He gave up a first batter walk but otherwise velocity was there, location was there, didn't see much of the curveball but he looked good! |

I don’t know if Florial can hit but from what I have seen so far he sure is fast. If he could just put the ball in play more often he’d at least be replacement level pretty quickly. |

I don’t know if Florial can hit but from what I have seen so far he sure is fast. If he could just put the ball in play more often he’d at least be replacement level pretty quickly. They say speed doesn’t age well, but I’ll tell you the truth. I run as fast as I ever did. I just don’t get to my destination as quickly as I used to... I guess Florial is still a baby, so his habits and talents should be changing and developing rapidly. I sure hope those athletic skills translate into professional baseball skills... |
