Very powerful looking swing but maybe a little wild. 22 year old who played in High-A last year. 151 Ks not surprising with a swing like that.

I’d say Gilliam has been a pleasant surprise. He was a 20th rounder in 2015, and has been more consistent than expected despite playing in the Yankees MiLB power-reducing parks in Charleston and Tampa...I think he’ll likely play in Trenton this year, and perhaps we can find out how “for real” the HR pop may be...
Also has proven to be a reliable and strong-armed RF who makes the odd appearance in LF. Since he puts the bat on the ball with relative consistency from both sides of the plate, he could be a valuable asset...

Sometimes I think that playing in those MiLB parks makes our kids over swing. I’ve never gone to a game in Charleston, but from visiting my sister down there that wind off the Ashley River is strong...and it blows straight in to home plate... I would describe his swing more as unrefined than wild...Sounds better, right?... (:

Kid has got great all around action but when that bat starts coming forward is just feels super aggressive (thus no wonder he strikes out so much).

2 HR each for Judge and Gardner.
4Ks by German in 2.2 SHO and Sosebee K’s The side in his single inning of work. Make room for Sosebee! We’ll ride the Sosebee-Lipka-McBroom tandem to the title! (Or maybe we can trade them for another high-ranking starter)... (:

I just watched the 6 homer binge of the Yankees in their two games vs. Tigers and Blue Jays on replays...The one Gilliam hit might not have landed yet...He REALLY got into it...

More importantly, John Sterling seems to be in mid-season form.

More importantly, John Sterling seems to be in mid-season form. I don't think his form changes anymore. I feel bad for people that have to follow Yankee game through him & Suzy.

It is high...it is far...the SS races back and catches it in foul ground...
