[img src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/FaPDancotIiOvGyPqDbu.gif" class="smile" alt=" "] Lipka, one of a half dozen or more players pretending they're not rooting for an injury to one of the starters so they can get a chance to wear the pinstripes...Of course Lipka would need to have about three starters and a couple of other potential back ups go down...but you know it has to be on their minds...Or wishing to be traded to a team they can play for...

I almost forgot. It's my annual tradition to announce in Spring Training that Bernie Williams is in great shape and ready to play as the 7th outfielder on the squad!

It’s always been his timid nature that kept him from being a star. If not for that he’d announce “If I ain’t startin’ I ain’t departin’ “...* * Garry Templeton...while waiting to see if the fans elected him to play in the All-Star game...

Wouldn’t be funny if Garry Templeton had sons he named Lary, Bary and Hary? Maybe even Jery?...

Beat me to the punch, CHI! But glad we can watch on TV today for a change! Ugh, not for me, I don't get the YES Network and MLB TV is showing Phils/Twins.

Looks like they came to hit today. I’m assuming Jawn And Suzyn are complaining that they only score when they hit HRs.

Took the classic half an hour nap at 12:30 pm that turned into four and a half hours and missed the games. See we hit a bunch of HRs in our home game though. And Voit went deep in the away game. Not bad.

Not bad. I missed the game, too. First “Riders Of The Purple Sage” was on, though I missed some of that to shovel snow for my neighbors, but decided to finish watching it. It lasted until just after the game ended. I guess it’s safe to say that Tanaka looked good, and that Chapman was fine for a first outing... I can miss ST games without too much regret...and I have to force myself to miss 50 or 60 games a year so I don’t go broke sitting me arse... (:
