When you think about Mickey, with all the drinking, carousing, peeping Tom activity, his instigational nature (It’s said the harmonica incident was far from isolated), his sometimes cruelty and foul language with children... He was quite a shit...Yet our affection for him never runs dry... Jane Leavy’s bio about Micky was great. He was a complex, flawed person (like most people). Alcoholism often turns the behavior of otherwise good people into something dark and ugly. |

Red Thunder making things happen. We have a few guys who could play on the 25 man roster who will start at SWB because there won’t be room for them. But our system is barren, says the guys who follow minor league systems.
