I know Chuck mentioned this in the miscellaneous thread, but doesn't Gio deserve his own thread?

I read that he lost some of the bite on his curve last year. Without it, he’ll need to either develop another weapon or he’ll get lit up. Lots. I hope he finds something...we’ll need him at some point...

I hope he finds something...we’ll need him at some point... like a lot of aging pitchers, he's lost differential. he throws the same changeup, but now its 7mph, and not 10mph, slower than his fastball. he's going to need to find something to restore his edge. you never know....gio wasn't very good in 2018. but he was league average and has always had a rubber arm. can he pitch to the tune of a 4.20 era/1.20 WHIP and last 6IP per start? maybe. and if he does, the yankees will be thrilled

That's a short term opt out. It barely gives him time to get in shape...

Yes, was pulling chi’s and chuck’s collective chains simultaneously...He certainly deserves his own thread. How horrible would it be if were deemed unworthy of such a fine institution as this one???

If you don’t want them to charge, don’t give them a credit card to start with... I think basketball players that flop themselves to the ground at the slightest bit of contact should be charged with a blocking foul.
