I get what you're saying. If it were Severino or Tanaka or Paxton or Happ I would definitely be wondering what Boone was doing. But with German and it being his first start, I can't fault Boone on this one today. But it's fun to criticize Boone. Kill the manager! Kill the umpire! Kill the coaches! Kill the vendors! Kill the moths and gnats! Or like the old Eddie Murphy routine “C-I-L-L... my land...lord”. Is it acceptable to call black comedy black comedy when it’s performed by a black comedian?...

It's probably all mapped out for him before hand.

Yep, some IT guy from Princeton who never saw an actual baseball game probably made that call. Okay, just deliberately going into Old Man mode. But it isn't that much of an exaggeration.

Kay's excitement fooled me. I was typing to you guys, and I know I looked up. Oh well. Better than Sterling, “It’s high. It’s far. It’s deep. The first baseman reaches over the railing and makes the grab”...

Kay's excitement fooled me. I thought Kay might have needed a half inning off to change his pants...But no. He’s back. What a pro! Sterling never takes time off to change his pants. Depends. They work...A pro comes prepared...
