If Romine hadn’t gotten that hit I was going to reduce Boone to Lemur-brained status for not using Torres to pinch hit... saving him to hit for Wade was pretty smart...

I was looking forward to this being another quicknwin, and going out to get some stuff done in the yard. Now, I’m stuck hoping to see us revive this mess into a win...who knows how long this game will be...Hope we win it it this inning...

Lucky to get out of the top of the 9th without allowing a run. Now Frazier up in the bottom of the 9th with Gardner on to try to win it.

Gardner’s career OBP with a full count is .469. That is despite a .227 batting average in those situations. So he hits .227 and reaches at a .222 clip by other means, mostly walks of course...what a tough cookie...
