Damn. Tied at 3 on a base hit by Goodrum... Good -Something...Goodwin...Chappy was getting squeezed in that at bat...Cozart is hurt, Chapman has already thrown 24 pitches, men on 1st and 2nd. Pitcher Felix Pena has to pinch run, empty bench...

Angels have lost their DH, so wevwalk the .170-hitting Calhoun to pitch to the .117 hitting Trevor Cahill, who is pinch hitting...I’m not fond of putting a runner on with 2 outs...

Finally, it’s a 4-3 Yankee win as Holder blows Cahill away. I think he struck out the side...Nice to see Holder come through. Maybe this will turn him around...
Rays won, we keep pace, Red Sox rained out, we pull another 1/2 game in front of them...

Ford doesn't get robbed like that in the minors. I like Ford at the plate...Still, focused, and professional. Voit better not slack off... He looks like a good hitter, if not for the absence of hits. |
