First rough start of the year for Tanaka as far as I can tell but I didnt watch it live...cant stay up for these West Coast games anymore Definite lack of command, though I missed all of his shutout innings...Walking hitters and turning his usual solo gophers into 2-run jobs...I think something is wrong physically, because he’s changed his repertoire too drastically...and can’t seem to get his splitter going... |

I’d have to see if the numbers support my impression but I think his splitter has not been great this year. That has always been a difference maker for him. Without it he’s not great. |

That picture cracks me up every time. That guy is getting no lovin' tonight. There was a good article about that a couple of years ago. The photo was a staged photo by a photographer shooting stock photos to sell. |
