I was on Baseball Register and noticed that Holt had passed away on 03/29. I remembered him from the late 60’s/ early 70’s, so I looked at his Wiki page.
I was saddened to see that he had attended a school called Graham Colored High School. Just the remembrance of segregated education was quite sorrowful. That school was finally abandoned in 1961, and in 2014 one of the African-American leaders of Alamance County, North Carolina led a push to have a marker placed at the old site of the school...
