Wonder if Pipps is traveling? He’s been a bit scarce lately... He must be on vacation. Hello lads -- just scrolling through here and saw this. You are indeed correct, I am checking in from the historic Italian town of Ravenna after four nights in Rome and two in Assisi. All highly recommended. I haven't had anything to contribute, in part because the games are generally starting around 1 AM over here, and in part because I am on the go pretty much all day. The Yankees have been doing so well in my absence that I may just have to stay over here until they clinch the division. No sacrifice is too great for our team. My wife and I are having a great time -- it would be completely our fault if we didn't. The food and drink alone make it worthwhile to be here. Too much to see to try to describe on what is after all a Kendrys Morales thread. No shortage of Yankee caps to be seen. I still come by to see what you guys are saying and as always enjoy the commentary. Kaybli's photoshop of an Inger intervention almost made me spit up my afternoon Negroni. Enough from me. Even from this distance the Yanks look amazing.

All that great Italian food is making me jealous while I'm stuck over here with Olive Garden. Have a great rest of your trip and safe travels back!

All that great Italian food is making me jealous while I'm stuck over here with Olive Garden. Have a great rest of your trip and safe travels back! Geez, Olive Garden and Olive Tree just aren’t what they used to be. Ruthie has an obsession with them. I’ve been talking her into trying some of the local family owned restaurants instead and have had excellent meals at better prices. I ordered shrimp over linguini at one local joint the other day. Those were by far the biggest and tastiest shrimp I’ve had since we moved west. The owner said they buy them in from Florida...And the marinara was perfectly puréed (important for me...don’t care for “chunks of tomato), and delicious... I have no idea what the seasoning was on the shrimp, but it left just a tiny bit of fire on my lips that just set the meal off. Between the two of us we escaped at &49.73, including my customary $0.25 tip. Just kidding, I sprung for $10.00. I always read that it’s an insult to tip owners, but I’ve never had one refuse a tip or look pissed off...🤔
