Yea, I thought so too. Rest him tomorrow during the day game. Well, I bet half the lineup will be on the bench tomorrow anyway.

No need to break the Oriole's streak of giving up 10+ runs a game.

No need to break the Oriole's streak of giving up 10+ runs a game. Let's push it to four games in a row for the Orioles!

So, Straily:
Much like Hess, Straily relies on command as he has only middling velocity. His most effective strikeout pitch is typically his slider to right-handers, but he focuses on soft contact.
He tends to serve up HR in the first three innings or early pitch counts of games, and is susceptible to allowing the long ball to first pitch-swingers.
His best pitch to lefties is his four seamer, because it tends to work a bit like a cutter, running in on their hands, and jams them. The same pitch works against him against right handed hitters because when he tries to pitch inside the ball often tends to run out toward the middle of the plate.
He’s not quite a reverse split pitcher, but there’s not much difference in performance vs. LHH and RHH...It’s harder for LHH to barrel the ball against him, but he walks far more LHH than RHH...

Sorry, meant to say cleanup...Either one seems very wrong at this point, but leadoff would REALLY be bad... 🤪🥴

The Orioles don’t even pull their starters until they give up 9 or so...

Might as well rest your players against a really bad team.

Might as well rest your players against a really bad team. One here and one there. If you rest too many you make your team weaker and lose those games...

La Vida Loca turns the double play. Yankees don’t capitalize on two first inning walks.
