Boone is a really mediocre manager. He just about gave this game away against a terrible team just to try to get CC a win. Really stupid managing.  |

By the way, something screwy with the board. Not sure why. I checked the support board. There is a problem with the login system. They are aware of the problem and working on it. Sorry about that. Working ok on my phone. |

Odd that many of our starters have been cruising, yet pulled after 75-80 pitches. Sabathia was getting rocked and only a great throw from Gardy and a great tag at the plate stopped the madness. Aaron BaBoone.

Given the situation, had Severino either held third or been safe at the plate, we can imagine Boone might have pulled CC, or that CC might have crawled to the dugout on his hands and knees...

Gardner takes advantage of an inexperienced OF. Damn, I used to love doing that to lazy outfielders... And stupid ones, too. I recall a few of them saying “You’re not allowed to go to second on a single”!
