You must be the life of every party... I don’t get invited to the golf parties and that’s just fine with me. I also don’t get invited to knitting circles and mah jong, which are about the same thing. To. E fair, I played for about twelve years or so. The difficulty level is amazing, the learning curve is very tough...Much more fun to play than watch...But if it comes down to having time for the family or not...No contest, choose family... Unless your marriage really sucks, and then the golf just helps you tolerate life a bit and delays the inevitable... I did find that most golfers on the affordable public courses were regular lunch pail Joes. The private/country clubs fit the profile you presented much better...When I had the few opportunities I did to play them I had some moments where I felt uncomfortable...

Who is for the electronic strike zone? Baseball is going to test it out in the minor leagues, I'm not sure if we will ever see it in the big leagues. I doubt it as well, but I would be for it...if it works.

Who is for the electronic strike zone? Utah... Lol... He loved it. I think it’s time... The equipment has tested well in industry. One concern I would have is that RFID has a significant failure rate when subjected to water, so umps might have to take over in rainy circumstances...

What I find annoying is this game should be like 6-1 with the right calls What did you roll in Strat-O-Matic that makes you think that?...

Smoltz speaking of Nolan Ryan tossing out ceremonial first pitches at 80 years at 90 MPH. Let’s wait eight more years for Ryan to reach eighty before we say that...doofus...

Come one German, get it together. He’s not the same pitcher he was earlier this year. Maybe he was extremely lucky earlier this year I don’t know. He seemed legit but they are sitting on his FB and change and hammering it.

I agree with everything you wrote, except I never heard of E. Fair, but he sounds nice. My best rounds were always with my wife by my side. She wasn’t a fan, but she enjoyed the landscapes, flora, fauna, and teasing me. Afterward, we’d head home and I’d cook for everyone. Wonderful times with family and friends. Once she was diagnosed with cancer, I stopped playing. Haven’t really played in eleven years, except a couple times with my father-in-law during holidays. He was a lunch pail guy. Never made over 30 grand a year. He’s nearing 80 and still plays nearly every day. When my mother-in-law died in 2010, it kept him busy and interacting with people. Kept him sane and walking four to five miles per day.
