I hate to say it, but this kid Thornton is throwing the rock quite nicely. Good velo, good movement and location so far...Doofus wind up, so maybe the mechanics will come unglued...

Lol. I have a standing offer to “talk” from a solar company now. I’ve enjoyed picking my own spots and being on my own, but sometimes I’m having to wait a while for my money... I’m going to ponder on it... I’m getting a vibe that they aren’t keen on my colleague...which could kill our contract when it’s up for renewal...Lots to study on... It's because the ruling now says "as long as the ball is in the glove it does not have to hit the leather in the back" Which is a really dumb rule, because until it does, it’s not even caught...When I did a wee bit of umpiring that I did, I believed that on force plays you watched the foot and listened for the ball hitting the mitt/glove. You can’t see both at the same time... |

Galvis is a really athletic SS. I like him a lot more than I do most 80 OPS guys...That little bit of surprising pop in his bat, a bit of speed...
Galvis couldn’t get to that one from Sanchez...
