Cessa's time in the major leagues might be coming to and end. Cessa has always seemed like he should be better than he is. He’s never been able to put it together for more than a brief period of time. I think he’s out of options but that shouldn’t stop them from moving on at this point. I know Tarpley didn’t look great in his brief time called up but I have more confidence in him coming out of the pen than Cessa. |

Lol at Cone crumpling up Wells' score card. Wells will be quitting the broadcast team... I really didn’t enjoy Wells on the broadcast. We get it he used to play and he isn’t smart. The routine gets old after 5 minutes or so. He’s the Guy Fieri of baseball. Go back to flavor town, Boomer. |

I hit the sack before this game went in the wrong direction. Saw DJLM's homer and saw Kahnle squeak out of trouble but missed the carnage after that. Just watched the replay and I am just chalking this one up to shit happens. Britton's pitch to Vlad wasn't bad. It wasn't worse than the two that Sanchez hit for a HR and a RBI single. And Cessa isn't good but he's the last pitcher on the roster and the pen has been overworked lately. So, it sucks to lose a game you had the lead in that late - they've been pretty much lights out when they have the lead in the 8th - but that's not sustainable over a season. So, on to the next one.

He was definitely sitting low. |

I predicted the Yankees would win their Division this year...but not with this cast of characters = Makes their record even more impressive.
The Blue Jays are impressing me with their rebuilding process...if they keep on track; within two-years will be a team to deal with.
Another surprise team, is the Twins = Who Knew?
As I see it, as of today, the only two teams that could be obstacles to the Yankees going to the WS are Houston & the Twins. |
