I am reading LASSO regression. Even this game is better than that
This is what makes my job fun...
"The large number of primary variables specified in stress scenarios poses a challenge for the design, selection, and estimation of forecasting models. In the case of the CCAR, restricting models to use only contemporaneous values of the variables and ruling out interactions lead to 2 to the 28 power possible linear models for explaining a single dependent variable, say, the default rate of a specific asset class. Model selection intractability worsens as the number of potential models grows linearly with the number of variables to forecast. Moreover, in the context of macro stress tests, the dimensionality of the data may exceed the length of the sample size raising concerns about model overfitting. In these tests, data is typically available at an annual frequency and may be available only for few years. In this case, least squares cannot yield unique coefficient estimates and some method is necessary to reduce the number of covariates included in the model. " Sounds like a good time. HE said some sick stuff to Patrick which caused me to lose a lot of respect for him.

Lol. I remember Acura deleting my posts whenever he was wrong. For years, I was on the Boston.com baseball forum as a Yankee fan and never had a single post deleted. Red Sox moderators had more tolerance. Hahahaha, Acura was definitely a heavy handed moderator. You out there, A-man? Only when he was on the receiving end!

there is a rumor going around on the net that Stanton and even Judge might be able to play on the next homestand. I doubt the latter, but the former would be great.

If players bunted more the shift would go away, which alone would be a huge advantage. The only reason the shift is used is because batters refuse to bunt. Minor leaguers could bunt balls through the holes created by the shift, major leaguers could as well.
