Those gorgeous panoramic views of stadiums throughout the league that you see, you're probably not getting them if the ballparks have roofs. you're also not getting rain or snow or flights of bees to ruin your 200 dollar tickets. A handful of rainouts every year is worth it to have an actual ballpark instead of a monstrosity.

Of course I had to look it up. Tampa averages 32.71 inches of rain April through September. New York averages 20.41. That's a pretty big difference. yeah....and having lived on the eastern coast of Florida, directly across (almost) from Tampa, most of the summer rain comes in late afternoon thunderstorms.....you can visually see the moisture from the previous days rain being raised and forming clouds...then thunderheads, and then rain....yeah...the Rays need a roof... What a soggy existence...We’re in the monsoon season now... Thunder, drip, drip, drip... it’s over...sun back out...

Everything felt so fresh.

Yeah, I was hoping for a first pitch 475 foot home run. Maybe next AB.

They just look much better when they don’t go on by... but, no drama when that ball was hit to right...you knew it was going to be caught, but the fans in AAA will now have the excitement of wondering...
