Welcome back Mr. Giancarlo Stanton! Who knows if they'll play this game though because of you guessed it, more rain.

The new Bill Murray flick looks campy enough to be enjoyable.

Life is good when your number nine hitter is batting .300. And your best player isn't even back yet. If this team gets anything close to average pitching, there should be a lot more victories coming this year.

Nice to see Stanton back, slowly the band is getting back together. Hopefully they get this one in.

the postponements due to rain are getting ridiculous. Buy a freaking roof. well....why not....Toronto can afford a roof and the Yankees can't?....I wonder if more than passing consideration was given to having a roof when the new stadium was designed?...wouldn't the increased revenue from winter events like football games or concerts or political gatherings pay back the cost?.....there is a college Pinstripe Bowl that few teams "want" to play because it's so cold.... .ehhhhh……..missed opportunity...

the rays can afford a roof. On the billion dollar Yankee stadium I am thinking they could have afforded it. I think the logic was, "Babe Ruth played in rain so...."

I'd pay a premium on tickets to not have to worry about rain. Just saying.

The Rays "ballpark" is the biggest joke in the MLB, the place wasn't even built for baseball. Exactly. It's never a good idea to use that dump as an example of what you should do. Toronto has a dome because it is so cold or rainy the first few months that it would be impossible to play there. They didn't play a game with the roof open this year until two months into the season. I hate rainouts too. In this exceptionally rainy spring, the Yankees have had four of them. Two have already been made up. Probably in an average season the Yankees have maybe three home rainouts. Maybe four. I don't think that's enough to financially justify a retractable roof, no matter how bad this particular season may be.
