I couldn't imagine talking to another person that way but I'm not a competitor like Manny. I can truthfully say I've never spoken that way to anyone in my life. Not that that is much of an achievement. But I do recognize that in a sports environment we don't always comport ourselves the way we do in everyday life. |

I meant this as a silly thread, the mistake Machado made in annoying people who will determine a lot of his success or failure should be self evident. It turned out to be not so funny...

It will be interesting if umpires take out their resentment or not. They and the players have had issues going back a long ways.
