We now have homered in 26 games I think (I thought it was 25 but apparently not). The record is 27 by the Rangers in 02.

I actually enjoyed your post. Glad you have some fight in you. Better than the passive-aggressive doom and gloom. I'd hardly call it a personal diatribe, but whatever. lol, I don't think I've ever seen Pipps get lite into like that before. I do agree it's nice to see Noetsi with some fire in his belly, but it's strange that it was towards you. It's all good, Chi. No hard feelings toward anybody. The game brings out emotions.

This should be the kind you like. You get to wallow in misery over one stupid game of which even the greatest teams will have some in the course of a season. I'll take eight out of nine against Tampa Bay and Houston anytime. Plus future Yankee Marcus Stroman threw six shutout innings against Boston, which was losing 5-0 in the seventh. Most likely Boston will remain nine games in the loss column behind the Yankees. For sure we need another starter. But this isn't wrist-slitting time. Go jump in the lake. Or better yet quit reading my comments. I am sick and tired of people giving me a hard time because they have a different view than I do. I don't agree with other posters here. I don't launch constant personal disatribes against them because of that. Noetsi….you provide a balance to this thread...hang in there with that...I have been watching in my room, and dozed off for a bit, and was awakened by the cheering for LeMahieu's 3 run dinger...I find it hard to be downcast after the winning streak against good teams, but...there are some things that could use improvement on our roster.... It looks like this team is going to be good enough to make the playoffs....I am not very concerned now about not making it that far.....I want a legitimate ace starter added so that we have a chance to win the title...I think we will get one...

Why continue to use Verlander up 9-3 in the 7th? Well he is at 96 pitches

utah I think the Yankees are doing great. I was commenting on one bad pitcher. I don't think we are strong enough at pitching to win a WS, but it remains to be seen what will happen. In theory Severino and German might be good enough to win in a WS - hopefully we will find out

Why in the world do you use a pitcher for 106 pitches in a blow out. Pretty much the opposite of our approach to pitching.

At least Cessa is eating some innings.

if Stroman wants to be a Yankee, he auditioned well in his win over the Red Sox today...he did some taunts toward the RS dugout that has their players and commentators on edge....and most importantly, he dominated their lineup...
We could do worse, for sure....if Bauer is not available, I guess Stroman would be next on the list...
