This should be the kind you like. You get to wallow in misery over one stupid game of which even the greatest teams will have some in the course of a season. I'll take eight out of nine against Tampa Bay and Houston anytime. Plus future Yankee Marcus Stroman threw six shutout innings against Boston, which was losing 5-0 in the seventh. Most likely Boston will remain nine games in the loss column behind the Yankees. For sure we need another starter. But this isn't wrist-slitting time. Go jump in the lake. Or better yet quit reading my comments. I am sick and tired of people giving me a hard time because they have a different view than I do. I don't agree with other posters here. I don't launch constant personal disatribes against them because of that.

Judge definitely still working off the rust.

Judge definitely still working off the rust. And, with his size and swing, it may take the equivalent of a spring training amount of at bats to get back to “himself” at the plate.

It makes sense that it takes a while to get your swing back. Stanton has not hit a home either I think

I'd hardly call it a personal diatribe, but whatever.

On the bright side if we are even close at the end of this game Houston will go into shock. And this was their, I think, second best pitcher, against our worse starter. Maybe we should have led off with Holder. At least Boone would not be tempted to use him in relief

All we need is a grand slam this inning to be right back in it. That is possible. We really need Judge and Stanton to get more playing time. Once they do we will be an amazing line up.

Voit hasn’t had a dinger in a while. Time to park one.

That was a nasty pitch from Verlander.

With Pedro I used to count every pitch since once he got to a 100 if we were close we could win. I feel the same with Verlander although of course 6 runs is not close. Up to 87 pitches.
To bad we did not go after him when he was leaving Detroit.

I do agree it's nice to see Noetsi with some fire in his belly, but it's strange that it was towards you.
