I’m so glad all of those puns are done. I got them out of my (Sy)stem...

Pipps, I was just wondering. We’re having a burger and potato chips for our quick supper tonight. How many countries would you estimate even HAVE potato chips...

Inger, Noetsi could well be right in his response. I actually don't know, since I never find myself looking for potato chips when I'm traveling. Burgers and Coca Cola, even Coke Zero, for sure you can find anywhere, and what we call fries as well. Although ours are the worst in the world, I am pretty sure. Most countries won't tolerate as much grease as we do. Thinking about it, I know that I have seen Pringles in grocery stores in Europe. But it hasn't registered with me. Snapple is surprisingly international. Starbucks is everywhere (except Italy! And really poor countries too.) Much to my wife's chagrin, I have gone to Starbucks in places like Saigon or Moscow or Singapore. It is one of the things I do that really annoy her. You know what you can find in the most impoverished sections of the third world? KFC!

I used to think the food there was decent, but since Harlan Sanders passed away and the company had hired impersonators to play him in ads... they’ve made something that impersonates food, too. I think it’s made worse in that particular store because they don’t seem to care how long the food has been sitting in the warmer. SOMEBODY is going to buy it. The rest room was hideous as well. I won’t be going back in that store, and it’s going to be hard to get me to go in another on anywhere...

The Yankees are burying the rest of this division. Now 25-7 versus AL East teams. Boston's bullpen keeps letting them down. Glasnow out long-term and Snell essentially pitching like Happ sinking Tampa Bay. Katie Sharp agrees:

Glasnow out long-term and Snell essentially pitching like Happ sinking Tampa Bay. Katie Sharp agrees: That was huge last year the Red Sox won 8 more division games than the yankees they also won the division by 8 games. Its hard to believe the yankees haven't won the division since 2012, but these kind of stats definitely help in the direction of ending that non division winning streak.

Amusingly in watching Goldfinger, I realized the scenes where the CIA is trying to follow one of the villains was a KFC. It was so different than it has since become I did not recognize it.

7 games up on the Rays. 9 games up on the Red Sox.

7 games up on the Rays. 9 games up on the Red Sox. Those Rays that just weren’t going to go away are suddenly looking like they may go away. Boston is a shocking 20-20 at home, and their next two home games will be way out of town, and in a park nothing like the one they have at home...

Also shocking is that Chris Sale has not won a game in Fenway since mid-July of 2018. He's in the running for this year's Ed Whitson Award, which Sonny Gray ran away with last year.

I swear to you, it was not chewable. I threw it away. I figured I could return it, but then I’d probably just get an equally unchewable sandwich with a snot rocket on it... The rest room had an out of order urinal with a plastic drop cloth over it that had been urinated in anyway, and there had obviously been multiple users who had added to the odiferous marinade. I put a clamp on my dangly bit and left...

Still a lot of season left don't forget 2015 can't get too far ahead of ourselves. July 28th + 8 over Toronto August 13 -.5 to Toronto.
