I did find an insurance fraud charge vs. Lilly. “Serious crime”? Yeah. Fairly so...He was a real cheapskate to try to get his recreational vehicle repaired on Progressive’s dime. Flo came down on him...

I think you mean Steve Howe, who was a drug addict. I did. From old memory after he left the Yankees he was charged with fraud for something related to motorcycles. But I can not find it and I may be wrong |

I think you mean Steve Howe, who was a drug addict. At least it was a human being that played for the Yanks... I have more sorrow for Steve Howe than anger. Certainly no hatred. Sadly, what Lilly did is quite common. People feel so ripped off by insurance that they tend to try to stretch the rules. Then the insurance companies Jack our rates even higher. Lilly could certainly afford to pay some 3 or 4K to repair his $210,000 ATV...His pension will cover that... |
