I think Urshela is better defensively than Brosius....who was Urshela's equal...Nettles? Brosius is a good comparison. I don’t think he’s as dynamic or athletic as Nettles.

Nettles was good....right now I think Urshela is as good going to his right....still watching on plays to his left...Nettles was real good both ways..

I never say Boyer, but Nettles lateral movement and quickness was impressive.

Sometimes just striking out isn't a bad option.

I never say Boyer, but Nettles lateral movement and quickness was impressive. Nettles has so much lateral range. I would compliment Urshela by putting him on a par with Aurelio Rodriguez. I always loved that he had a black glove way back in the day before they started making them in multitudes of colors. Rodriguez was quick, strong-armed, and a bit error-prone. I’m not certain that Urshela is as steady as the all-time greats yet. To differentiate between Rodriguez and Urshela, perhaps AR was a bit showier, leaving his feet a bit more often, and a bit more rangey. GU is a bit more fluid, may handle the slow developing play better. Don’t take this to a higher level than I intend it when I say that Urshela’s fluid movements remind me a bit of Brooks Robinson. Don’t elevate the entirety of the body of defensive work to that level...

Nettles was really good as a defensive player.
What about these Mets pitchers? They are doing something few teams can do against the Yankees
