Like I told you guys, Boonie had it all figured out. this was a game that could have easily backfired on Boone....he has really had some karma going this season....hope it doesn't turn around in the second half... Aaron Boone is the Chauncey Gardner of baseball managers.

You go Boone! You use Cortes and Hale in those tight and late situations!

Since the day after Gardner threw his batting helmet he’s been in 23 games, 20 of which he started. His slash line is...
.306/.398/.555; with 5 HR and 19 RBI
I doubt he’s ever had a run like that. Not even in high school... Not in little league. Yep, as many have said. Gardner is cooked. Why do we even keep him?...

What if I told you in January that by the all star break, Luis Severino and Dellin Betances would have pitched a total of zero innings, and Miguel Andujar and Giancarlo Stanton would have combined to hit one home run?

Then I would have not predicted the Yankees would be winning the AL East by 8.5 games that's for sure!
