This lineup would look a lot better with Sanchez DHing. Or maybe Frazier in LF instead of Tauchman.

This lineup would look a lot better with Sanchez DHing. Or maybe Frazier in LF instead of Tauchman. But the defense looks terrific, and there’s still plenty in that line up to have young McKay make a brown spot in his pants right there on the mound. Beat these Rays back closer to Boston in the standings. Make them worry more about third place than hope about first place...

Why sit Hicks against a lefty forcing two lefty OFers to bat against the lefty McKay? Couldn't Hicks sit tomorrow?

OK fine rest Sanchez. But why rest Hicks against a lefty forcing two lefty OFers to hit against a lefty pitcher? You cannot make me explain the ways of the Boonie. Right. Which begs the question, why ask the question?...One of life’s great mysteries, the secret formula from which Aaron Boone crafts his lineups. It is surely stored in the same vault as the list of secret herbs and spices concocted by Colonel Harlan Sanders...

Hicks does have an ops + of only .630 vs. lefties so far this season... then again it might be good for him to hit against this rookie to snap out of it...

LMH strikes out at ball 4 Explain to me again why we play tauchman rather than Frazier. Judge hits a home run. 1-0
