Tauchman's defense is solid...but that's not enough to hold a ML roster spot.. certainly not on a team that has Gardner. When Stanton returns he will leave. early August?...…..that's a lot of lack of offensive production... |

Tauchman drove in a run yesterday in less time than it took Frazier to report to Scranton. Once of these guys is a professional and the other isn’t. tauchman is batting .211 Could be. Frazier was hitless in the three days he couldn’t be bothered to get his ass to Scranton. |

Tauchman's defense is solid...but that's not enough to hold a ML roster spot.. Maybe not for regular season once Stanton is back. I could see him getting a postseason roster spot based on what he does well, speed and defense. That’s a sensible role in any postseason roster. |
