Stroman has hardly hit his normal spot with that sinker at all today. That pitch should pretty consistently be down and away to lefties and down and in on righties. (He just found that spot a couple times against Tauchman).
I recall hearing other sinker ballers and finesse pitchers complain that when coming back after longer than normal rest that they felt too strong. Fourteen days is a long time off for a pitcher...
