Interesting. Perhaps still being protective of his former injury. I’d imagine that will change in time... Could be how they’re pitching him also. He’s always pulled the breaking pitches and hit the fastballs to RF. |

94 here in Vermont. Wicked hot! Vermont would be a place I would go because I’d expect it NEVER to get that hot. I guess that just like out here in Colorado. If you want to you can go uphill for a few hours to cool off... It seems odd after living out east to be at 5000’ elevation and be on the valley floor... in about 45 minutes to an hour I can be about 9000’ and lose about 12-15 degrees of temperature easily... We don't have air conditioning because we probably only need it 5 nights a year, but my neighbor offered us a spare window unit and we took it. |

It’s really hard to deal with oppressive heat, and doubly so if you’re not conditioned to it. We just had our heat wave broken with a small but vicious storm cell that hit. I’d estimate we had hurricane force winds and 3-4 inches of rain with a little less than a half hour. There was a brief period that was likely no more than a minute of hail, and one of our windows got cracked by it. The temp went down from 99 to 66 within the half hour...Puddles everywhere!... |

We just have to be respectable against the Red Sox (what like 12 games left with them?) and we should be set. It would be nice to do well against them and bury them out of the wild card though.  |
