Is Sanchez trying to get his arm broken? How catcher's interferences does he have this season? I assume someone is working with him on this, but it isn't helping. He's going to get hurt.

I hope they’re working with him on more than CI...since June 23, Sanchez is hitting .118/.202/.184 for an OPS of .387

They scored 6 runs, they lost because CC sucked. I think they lost because sanchez was awful. If he had just struck out the first two times we would probably come up with 2 runs. Ignoring his error which led to a huge Twins inning. The TP and 2 DPS didn't help either or the throw to second from Torres to DJ.

Since we’ve seen a few CI calls lately, I did a quick search on them yesterday. I wanted to see which catcher might have been involved in the most of these plays.
I couldn’t find anything regarding the catchers. Naturally, there were tons of articles showing the number of instances involving batters, and reporting on Jacob Ellsbury’s record 31st in his now-stalled career.
I found one article that spoke of the pitchers that had thrown the most CI pitches. There were three pitchers that had thrown six pitches each. I forgot who two of them were, but I did note that one of them was still active, Clayton Kershaw. They were tied for second place all time behind Phil Niekro, who threw 14 pitches that resulted in CI. Suffering succotash and floating knuckleballs!
I found it odd that I wasn’t able to readily find a list of the guys that are making contact with the bats. Maybe I’ll try again later...
