It means two bad strikes are not made ok by one bad call. The at bat was lousy before the third strike, he did not even come close. That's not how hitters are judged or evaluated. Obviously we have a different evaluation systems. I don't look only at the last pitch to evaluate an at bat

I don't know how he "didn't come close" on the two previous pitches: one was a strike looking and the other was fouled off - both in the zone.

Would be nice if just once we could hit a home run when people on. But we do get 1. So many chances to get back in the game and we missed every one.

Freaking Torres should have had that....he actually moved away from the ball. Matador move. Would have ended the inning. I just noticed that the homer score keeper gave Bradley Jr a hit on that, which makes those two runs earned. He really doesn't matter, except for paxton's ERA, but that's really lame score keeping.

That is called home cooking - terrible home cooking.

We have ten hits in the game. Just have not been able to capitalize on them as Boston has.

A little better defense and a home run and we could be right in the game. The score difference is deceptive.

Ain’t THAT the TRUTH?... We have yours... and the one used here on Earth by people that understand the game... Of course, we do get that if Torres had tried to bunt at those two pitches, he would have gotten extra credit for that...

What's the point of replay? That was a foul ball.

What's the point of replay? That was a foul ball. The dent in the dirt sure said so. The ball would have to to have buried about to it’s equator to touch chalk...
