OK. It was ugly, but we avoided the McBroom! 9 games up! We need the rest day bad! Hopefully, we can trade for some help too! ten up in the lost column which is all that matters.

Chapman is way off. No command, no gettyap on the fast ball...His knee? Probably...

we knew going into the season that we were thin in starters....but I bought into the mantra of getting 5 innings from the starter, and turning it over to the lock-down bullpen....sometimes it seems they are arsonists...

All three of them are continually pitching behind. Not only is it hard to win like that, they are throwing so many pitches they will self destruct by the end of the year. Especially Ottavino.

The Severino injury has really hurt. The rotation looks a lot different with him at the top of it.

Sale didn't look right since after the all star break last year.

Curious the move Boone made to replace Kahnle with Ottavino, given how both have pitched recently....we were lucky it worked out despite the tightrope walking....

Sale didn't look right since after the all star break last year. it has always looked to me that his motion puts a lot of stress on that arm...and he weighs what....175 maybe?

They threw an awful lot of pitches. They also threw a lot of awful pitches.
