For some reason we play fine until we get people on. Then we lose patience... That post didn’t age very well. Sometimes having no patience works out. I still prefer having it. I think in the long run you score more.
Another opinion no one agrees with I am sure Silly likelihoods...

I really thought he looked much better, except I would have thrown a fastball up to Boegarts on the full count. He made one mistake and Martinez didn’t miss it.

OK, I'm going to see this inning first. Hicks, you screwed up! There’s your present. I was hoping you were still there to see it... I sent Gleyber a quick message that it was your birthday. He promised to hit that grand slam home run just for you...I might have sort of told him you were a sick little boy, so if he shows up at your party sit down low in your seat and suck your thumb, please...

From the 2nd inning on Paxton has a 3.14 ERA. Good sign, I hope.

That worked for Bobby Brady with Joe Namath.

Thankfully lost in the shuffle was that Hicks has a career .109 average with the bases loaded and no grand slams. Hard to believe.

Gleyber flashed an incredibly quick bat on that GS! He's going eventually be this team's #3 hitter.
