I am at work. trying to build a time series model. It's Friday night. Pour yourself a cold one and watch the game. I am making up time and the model needs done. Should have been done yesterday.
On the bright side I got glowing reviews today on my performance review. The division director boasts about my models and simulators to other state agency heads 
Then they said they were concerned about my inherent pessimism.....

From the 2nd inning on Paxton has a 3.14 ERA. Good sign, I hope. Once he gets past the first, things settle down. He seems like the perfect candidate to have an opener. Or maybe not. His issues may not have anything to do with first innings, and more to do with settling into the game... |

If we win tonight my never wrong model says Boston is no longer a threat to win the division (unfortunately it failed to address Tampa or the point when our entire team comes up with Ebola).  |

The division is probably out of reach, but they still have a shot at one of those wild cards. Kill them now! |

Now tell them to pay you!!! $$$$$$ Dear Boss, I would like to have a pay raise. I feel that maybe I don’t deserve one, but my friend told me to ask. I know you expressed concerns about my pessimism. I am working to improve on that. Just this morning while I was cooking my eggs for breakfast I was able to convince myself that I had cooked all of the botulism out of them and was able to keep them down until I arrived at the waste can next to your desk. (Sorry, third time this month, I know). Awaiting my sad demise, Russell Noetsi, Esq. (Not the magazine. I can’t afford them on my pay). |
