Now tell them to pay you!!! $$$$$$ Dear Boss, I would like to have a pay raise. I feel that maybe I don’t deserve one, but my friend told me to ask. I know you expressed concerns about my pessimism. I am working to improve on that. Just this morning while I was cooking my eggs for breakfast I was able to convince myself that I had cooked all of the botulism out of them and was able to keep them down until I arrived at the waste can next to your desk. (Sorry, third time this month, I know). Awaiting my sad demise, Russell Noetsi, Esq. (Not the magazine. I can’t afford them on my pay). lol I never use my titles but just once I wish I could do
Russell Hellein, PHD, MPA,MSA,MA, PPA...
which reflects arrogance I don't feel. Everyone here keeps me humble  Well and being wrong a lot...

Once he gets past the first, things settle down. He seems like the perfect candidate to have an opener. Or maybe not. His issues may not have anything to do with first innings, and more to do with settling into the game... Hard to tell. If he came in in the second, most likely he would be starting out against a five or six hitter, probably lesser than starting off against the top of the order. But I doubt we will ever find out anyway. It's just that his first innings are so freakishly awful that almost anything would be an improvement. |
