Inger I have been in college something like 18 years. In honesty I lost track. In a moment of insanity I almost went back for another doctorate. Then Mr G slapped me silly for considering it... Wow. My hat’s off to you. Perhaps I would have thrived in college, but by the time I got out of high school I was ready to move on from the formal education process. I knew “we” couldn’t afford college as a family for a long time before that, so I was preconditioned to believe I would be better off entering the work force immediately. Besides, back then I eagerly devoured encyclopedias in my spare time. I gave myself a diversified, if useless education. I actually started reading encyclopedias when I was about 4 years old. When I went to school and they started on that “See Dick run” stuff, I thought it was about VD... |

You can learn just as well from books like you did as in formal education.
