Just thinking about the electronic strike calling:
I’m not aware of what they’re doing in the minors with testing, but I’d put the reader in the hands of an umpire stationed at the plate. He just looks at the reader and reads off the call...He’s also watching the pitches as a back up in case the reader fails, and taking care of his other regular duties...

My apologies for being behind (still 1-1 for me), but I don’t see Urshela’s offensive numbers changing radically, unless he changes his approach (please never do). His swing is just too compact, quiet, uses all fields, and he is humble and knows his role. I don’t ever see him trying to do too much. And, he is very quick on pitches inside. To me, this is no fluke, only maturation of a really good athlete.

Just noticed that on Gardner’s hit, Sale was so busy whining that he didn’t bother to back up home and sure enough the throw got away. Very unprofessional.
