no he thinks they are more of a threat than Boston. I already called the division to much scorn two weeks ago. at the time, most thought, correctly in my view, that Boston was the more dangerous team in a playoff system.... Boston is a danger only to itself

we had a conversation a week or so ago as to whether the chaw in LeMahieu's cheek was tobacco or bubblegum....the answer is that DJ spit tobacco juice while he was at bat just now.... m Yuk!... Yuck!... YECH!... Anyway you spell it... Anyone who stills chew that stuff should pay attention to how Tony Gwynn's life ended.

I have the Extra Innings package which means tonight I get the Orioles MASN broadcast. If anybody else is getting it, Orioles color commentator Ben McDonald sounds just like the guy who played Gomer Pyle's cousin Goober on "The Andy Griffith Show."

I was trying to find the words. You did it. I like the way he says “Talk-Man” in left field...I was wondering where McDonald is from. Guaranteed it’s not north of the Mason Dixon Line...

Boston is 7th in run differential in the AL which I think is more important than how many runs they score. They are well back of the WC.

McDonald was born in Baton Rouge, LA. Not the prototypical Loozianna twang I don’t believe. Maybe they moved around a bit. Over to Texas maybe? Arkansas?...
Hmm. He does sound like a feller ah know frum Arkansas...

Meanwhile, legendary Oriole, Ken Singleton is doing the game for the Yankees.

I had to look it up. It's not Mayberry, but Baton Rouge. He was considered as blue of a blue chip prospect as you could be when the Orioles made him the first overall pick in the draft. He showed flashes, but arm problems derailed him. He was a great college pitcher at LSU.
