I have the Extra Innings package which means tonight I get the Orioles MASN broadcast. If anybody else is getting it, Orioles color commentator Ben McDonald sounds just like the guy who played Gomer Pyle's cousin Goober on "The Andy Griffith Show." Meanwhile, legendary Oriole, Ken Singleton is doing the game for the Yankees. Of course. He’s a switch-hitter... (: |

McDonald was born in Baton Rouge, LA. Not the prototypical Loozianna twang I don’t believe. Maybe they moved around a bit. Over to Texas maybe? Arkansas?... Hmm. He does sound like a feller ah know frum Arkansas... You beat me to it. |

I’ll breathe easier when and if they get eliminated from the playoffs... Absolutely. Though another ALDS matchup would be fun and we do need revenge for last year. Rather not see them still. Problem I have is we see how streaky the yankees rotation is and against a lineup that can score 10 runs very easily the series could turn sour fast. |
