Happ is about to make me turn on the Steelers game. This might become a football score. Time to blame cashman for not seeing our pitcher woes If we saw them, he saw them. He just wasn't willing to trade Gleyber Torres for a dud like Matt Boyd or Robbie Ray.

Happ up to his usual antics. [img class="smile" style="max-width:100%;" alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/6828121/images/gszgVuvxUtZEFrgJSkis.gif"] Can’t miss with a fastball on these guys, especially Happ’s four-seamer. Not enough gitty-up.

One things for sure that fastball has been crushed all year. I've seen wine grapes in better shape than some of those baseballs.

It wasn't a serious suggestion on my part anyway except that I continue to think this pitching staff will have a hard time getting us to a WS

Happy days are here again.... I didn't want to start a new thread, but do players need as much rest as they get? Is this something only the Yankees do or is this a trend around the majors? I just ask because it seems the Red Sox seem to be bucking this trend as they play their stars almost every game if they're healthy. I know this is something we can afford to do because of our lead but even last year when the Red Sox was rolling, they played a lot. Only at the end did they start to rest their players a lot because they had clinched the division. Our guys seem to miss more than one start a month. Maybe. And the Red Sox season is over and our team had the best record in baseball.
