I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but I hope the Yankees are bringing this business with low called strikes on Judge up with the league. They are killing him. I think umpires simply can't see his lower strike zone so they are guessing. In any case this is not the NFL. I don't think protests would have any effect.

I doubt the umpires have a specific problem with Judge. Something must be driving the problem. Vision is the likely reason.

Stupid turf gives Gardner a double. Maybe it would have been anyway but that bounce wasn’t natural.
