Does Baltimore have the worst pitching staff in AL history? The 62 mets, pretty much the definition of futility, had a team era of 5.04 to a Baltimore 2019 era of 5.84. But era is higher generally I think now than in 62 so you would have to adjust for that.

Besides, 5.84 vs. 5.04 seems a rather huge variable to me...And given the number of games and innings played, why... That was lame...

No error was charged to Torres on that hard grounder that could have been a DP, so all three of runs a earned against Lail.
