The umps need to be major league caliber. Gardner wasn't even hitting, that slamming the bat against the dugout needs to stop. Chi, if there is a rule against it, I agree. Otherwise, I don't see why it should be cause for ejection. Other than the umpires simply enjoying making a display of their power. |

Gardner begging for a suspension... Someone should pull him aside and let him know he’s being an idiot. I’d be fine with a suspension at this point. Maybe if he burns a few game checks he’ll get some self control and stop acting like such a clown. |
