Cashman is blind to suggest this is a decent starting pitching staff against play off teams. Oakland is demonstrating his blindness Happ probably won’t even be on the playoff roster...

Justin Verlander pitched a two-hitter and lost, allowing homers to John Hicks and Ronny Rodriguez, and the Detroit Tigers beat the Houston Astros 2-1 on Wednesday night in a historic upset. The Tigers closed as a +435 underdog at Caesars Sportsbook, making their win against the Astros the largest upset in an MLB game in the past 15 seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Information research.
Yet another example why it's foolish to gamble on baseball games.

Given that Severino has not pitched in nearly a year on a regular basis who will be our 4 starters. LOL so not paying attention due to the game that I put rice on to cook and forgot to add the rice to the water

Cashman is blind to suggest this is a decent starting pitching staff against play off teams. Oakland is demonstrating his blindness Name another AL team that's better against teams with winning records than the Yankees? Name a play off bound team with a worse group of starting pitchers. Its a non sequiter in a discussion of pitching to bring up hitting and defense which is why we have a good record.

This A’s announcing crew is a trip. They just mentioned that Urshela has done well catching and throwing the ball but hasn’t had the offensive production of Andujar.
Earlier they both referred to Dellin as “Betanzes” with a very clearly pronounced z...
